The movie, “He’s all that” a netflix original, the sequel to “She’s all that” was released on August 25, 2021. The movie explains the relationship between the students from Cali High Padgett Sawyer played by Addison Rae, who is a makeover artist, and Cameron Kweller, Tanner Buchanan, an awkward, antisocial photographer. It also stars the shirtless antagonist Jordan, performed by Peyton Meyer, Padgett’s ex, who just made his music video. Then Padgett catches him cheating on her and they break up. Now Padgett is heartbroken and makes a bet with Alden Peirce, Madison Pettis if she can create a more popular boy than Jordan.
The movie starts off with Padgett live streaming right after she gets ready. She then decides to visit her then boyfriend Jordan to surprise him. Padgett thought that it would be a good idea if she livestreams the surprise, but then she catches him cheating on her. Her friend Alden continued the livestream while Padgett was having a mental breakdown. Pagett’s friends Alden and Quin, played by Myra Molloy, looked around the school for someone and chose Cameron Kweller “ The anti-social photographer” as the person Padgett would makeover.

Padgett cuts Cameron’s hair and does a whole entire makeover (expected), which makes him look like a completely new person. When Padgett gets asked out for prom in front of the whole school by Cameron, Alden makes Padgett admit that Cameron was just a bet. When Padgett reveals to everyone who she really is , an average teenage girl living in an “average house”.
The director Mike Waters was known for producing “500 Days of Summer”. The movie had a budget of 20 million dollars and it mainly received negative reviews. The movie has low ratings from Rotten Tomatoes; they gave the movie a rating of 30% from 54 critics and a 24% audience score from over 500 ratings. The movie also got a rating of 4.3/10 from IMDb and received a 36% from Metacritic. The reviews averages at 1 star from 5987 ratings. We were disappointed and we hope that they would do a much better job next time if they were to make a part 3, which is highly unlikely.
